Great videos. My website gets no traffic. Anything is worth a try.

Hi Gordon,

I love the videos, especially learning how to search the top 100. Definite golden nugget. I have been using Google Reader to notify me of blog updates.

How does Tristana reader differ from Google reader. Does the pop up happen no matter what you are doing on your computer, or do you have to be viewing the software like you have to view the Google reader page to be notified?

Hope all is going well. See you back here soon!

Hi Jacinta,
Thanks for your comment.
I have not used Google reader. Tristana will give you a little pop-up in the right bottom corner saying “Joe Blog has just posted a comment” or something like this.
You do not need to go anywhere on your pc and it will display it regardless of what you do on your pc. It is brilliant as you do not need to refresh the software and the idea is to go on that blog and be the first to comment. Many people will do the same thing so you will not always be the first one but sometimes you will.
Regards and keep in touch,
Gordan :)

hi Gordon,

Thank you so much for emailing and answering my question. I will download the software and give it a go. I have been following peopl’s blogs for a while now and have noticed that when I have been making comments on people’s blogs that have a really high Alexa ranking, my alexa ranking has improved within a week later. It is now around 280,000. 3 months ago it was @9,000,000.

At this stage I have just been using the “search status” add on for firefox that has told whether a site is high in ranking when I have visited.

Thanks for the info. Tristana sounds like it is like Google Reader on steroids!

I have been using Google Reader as a great way for me to keep up to date with everyone’s blogs just from a visiting point of view, however I do agree with the first to comment suggestion and will give that a go.

See you back here soon!

Hi Gordan

Thanks for the videos and advice regarding Tristana.

I’ve downloaded it and find that it’s so easy to use.

It’s certainly going to keep me busy (as if I wasn’t already!)

Take care

John
P.S. Thanks to Jacinta for pointing me in your direction.
